Dr. Emily Gray

D.V.M

In the earliest memories of her life, animals played a major role for Dr. Gray. One vivid recollection of hers involves riding a horse with their father walking beside them, a memory she thinks about often. Animals were a vital part of Dr. Gray’s upbringing, instilling in her a deep appreciation for the human-animal connection. She finds that seeing a dog after a hard day’s work can truly melt away tension, which is why she pursued a career as a veterinarian. Her goal was to become a key member in supporting and nurturing the bond between humans and their pets.

After completing her undergraduate education at UC Davis, she was fortunate to gain experience working with animals in various settings, including a cutting horse ranch in Texas and with horses and farm animals at Disneyland. Despite these diverse experiences, she consistently felt drawn back to veterinary medicine, finding a profound sense of fulfillment in a clinical setting.

With the support of a wonderful mentor and family, she graduated from Western University of Health Sciences with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. She has a strong interest in collaborative care, with special focus on internal medicine and emergency and critical care. Her husband is consistently supportive, even when they want to bring home another pet. Their most recent addition is a Queensland Heeler named Kimber, who certainly keeps them on their toes.

Dr. Gray is eager to continue refining her skills and striving to provide ever-improving care for her clients and patients.
