As we begin to enter the warmer part of the year, here are some things to look out for to keep your pets safe this summer!
SIGNS TO LOOK OUT FOR
- Heavily Panting
- Excessive Drooling
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Lethargy
- Collapse
Prevention starts with you!
Keep pets indoors during heat spikes. Allow them access to fresh water and shade at all times. Providing fans or air conditioning is ideal. Never leave your pets in the car when it’s hot.
Pets can pass away in as little as 15 minutes due to heat stroke. If you experience any symptoms of heat stroke please take your pet straight to a veterinarian.
